THE LIGHT HAS COME (PT. 2)
The incarnation brings new revelation as it unfolds and interprets God's very heart. Pastor Trent encourages us this Christmas to be thankful for the witness of John the Baptist. He was powerfully used by God to reveal the Light of the World. "He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light." John's witness calls for our witness.
THE LIGHT HAS COME
The pandemic has made our hearts ache, like few other experiences, for light and life. “When will things return to normal?” became our repeated refrain. Yet, the Gospel of John reveals that God’s light does not make things normal. It makes them new. Darkness may surround us in way analogous to God’s people wandering through the wilderness, but the LORD was leading them somewhere. This Christmas, we remember the LORD is leading us too. The light has come.
